How to Identify Dangerous Insects
  • Snakes
It is important to remember that not all snakes are dangerous. Some of them may not even be poisonous, but it is also important to remember to be careful because, depending on the type of snake, one bite can be lethal (if the snake is poisonous).
Pit vipers, such as copperheads, cotton mouths and rattlesnakes, are a family of poisonous snakes which is characterized by the small pit under the eye, their triangual heads, their movable fangs, their oval-shaped pupil, and the undivided scales on their tales.
